We are animal lovers. Our pets have been ever loyal companions in our journey to becoming musicians -- listening (or napping, more often than not), howling (in appreciation we'd like to think!), or curled up in our instrument cases. We would not be the people (or musicians) we are today without them.
So when we decided to form our string ensemble, we chose the name "Cattus," which means "cat" in Latin.
And then we decided to take it a step further and use this venture as a way to give back to our community. Cattus Quartet donates a portion of each completed engagement to various charitable organizations that protect and provide services to domestic and wild animals.
Upon securing our services, you will have the option to pick one of the following organizations to receive our donation.
